Project Description

This project involves the cutting and trimming of trees that are obstructing the Overhead Electrification (OHE) lines along the station yard between Asnoti and Kumta. The area falls under the SSE/W/KAWR section in Karnataka State. The work is essential to ensure the continued safety and reliability of the electrified railway corridor, minimizing disruptions and preventing damage to vital infrastructure.

Scope of Work

• Survey and identification of obstructing trees and branches.
• Manual/mechanized cutting and trimming of vegetation affecting the OHE system.
• Clearing and disposing of cut branches and debris safely.
• Maintaining adequate clearance buffer for long-term safety.
• Implementation of safety measures during all operations.
• Liaison with relevant authorities for environmental and operational compliance.
